Are you an electrician who is looking to join or continue within the growing renewables sector, with this company who are experiencing very high levels of growth and are now looking to expand their O&M team.

On offer is a field service engineer position, which would suit a team player who is self-motivated and willing to take the initiative on tasks they face. The role would mainly include undertaking Solar PV servicing, fault call outs and repairs, along with other tasks required at different times. The company specialise in medium utility scale Solar PV projects so all work is within a commercial environment, meaning excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will have some prior experience with solar or have qualifications associated with Solar. They will also have their 18th edition and NVQ Level 3. Candidates who apply must also be willing to travel throughout Hertfordshire, Essex and surrounding areas.

You will be joining the experienced O&M team and reporting to the O&M Manager who is based in the Kent office. Due to the significant growth within the company over the last few years, there will be many opportunities for progression and training within this role.

The role:

• Annual services and interim inspection in systems maintained by the company
• Fault call outs and diagnostics on faulty systems
• Some help with installation of Solar PV systems where required
• Utilising apps to manage and report on works to the CRM

The person:

• 18th edition or equivalent
• Solar PV experience or qualifications
• Good IT skills
• Willing to travel throughout Hertfordshire, Essex and surrounding areas
